WHAT TO EXPECT?

On your first visit, just look for the child registration area. You will be welcomed by Hosanna Woodlands volunteers who will be happy to meet your family, and there you will learn how the student ministry works. We will be present at all times (taking your child directly to their classroom), do not hesitate to ask us any questions! We value security so we will ask you for basic information including: the name of the family member; child’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).

HOW DOES SECURE REGISTRATION WORK?

At Hosanna Woodlands Children’s Ministry, safety is a core value. That is why we have a secure registration system for each child. During your first visit, you will receive a key code that is exclusive to your family. The next time you visit us, you can use that key code to quickly register with a Secure HW Registration.

Upon registration, you will receive the identification badge with two corresponding parts. Your child will have to use the portion with the name and you will have to keep the part that matches. Please pick up your child from the classroom within 15 minutes after the end of Sunday meeting. You must show the ticket that matches your child’s name to the teacher so they can leave the classroom.

In the event we need to contact you during the service, we may contact you via text message or we will share your child’s last name and ID code on the auditorium screen. We ask that you immediately find a member of the volunteer team or a teacher who will direct you to your child’s classroom.

CREATIVE BIBLICAL TEACHING

We strive to bring biblical truths into each child’s life through activities and discussions that will keep them engaged. We want all students to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS

Love is key in children’s ministry. Each week we will be encouraging children to show love through respect and honor for God, others, things, and themselves. We are committed to developing a friendly environment where they can build good relationships with leaders, other children and their parents so that they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith. When you head to the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces and loving prayers.

AGE APPROPRIATE LEARNING

Our environments and lessons are intentionally designed so your child can understand. We are so passionate about supporting them at every stage of their lives, that in Sunday services we provide them with age-specific options, until they reach fifth grade.

SECURITY

Safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why every time you register you will receive a specific identification number for parents. Additionally, each volunteer has been interviewed and vetted with a background check. Our rooms are also supervised by security personnel during each meeting.

THE FUN!

When kids have fun at church, they always want to come back! We will facilitate fun each week as you learn about how to relate to God and others through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.
