WHAT TO EXPECT?

When you visit us for the first time, just head to the child registration area. Our friendly Hosanna Woodlands volunteers will greet your family, walk you through how our student ministry works, and make sure you feel right at home. We’ll be with your child every step of the way, taking them safely to their classroom, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you have.

For your child’s safety, we’ll ask for some basic information, including the name of a parent or guardian, your child’s name, date of birth, address, phone number, and any special instructions, such as allergies or medical needs.

HOW DOES SECURE REGISTRATION WORK?

At Hosanna Woodlands Student Ministry, your child’s safety is a top priority. That’s why we use a secure registration system for every child.

First Visit: You’ll receive a key code unique to your family. On future visits, this key code allows for quick and easy check-in through our Secure HW Registration system.

Identification Badges: When you register, you’ll receive a badge with two matching parts—one for your child and one for you. Keep your portion safe and use it to pick up your child from their classroom. Please collect your child within 15 minutes after the end of the service and show the matching badge to the teacher.

Contact During Service: If we need to reach you during the service, we may text you or display your child’s last name and ID code on the auditorium screen. Please find a volunteer or teacher immediately, who will guide you to your child’s classroom.

CREATIVE BIBLICAL TEACHING

We bring God’s Word to life through activities, discussions, and times of worship that keep children engaged. Our goal is for every child to love the Bible and understand how to apply its truths to their everyday lives.

STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS

Love is at the heart of everything we do. Each week, children are encouraged to show love through respect for God, others, their surroundings, and themselves. We create a warm, friendly environment where they can build strong relationships with leaders, peers, and parents—gaining the support and confidence to grow in their faith. By attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by familiar faces, loving prayers, and small group support.

AGE-APPROPRIATE LEARNING

Our lessons and environments are carefully designed to meet the needs of each age group. We provide age-specific teaching, activities, and worship experiences for children up to fifth grade, helping them understand and apply biblical truths at every stage of life.

SECURITY

Safety is one of our highest priorities. Each child receives a unique identification number for parents at registration. All volunteers are carefully interviewed and background-checked, and our classrooms are supervised by trained security personnel during every service.

THE FUN!

Kids learn best when they’re having fun! Each week, children experience games, activities, small groups, worship, and video teaching designed to help them relate to God and others while enjoying themselves.
